Application for Ekurhuleni learnerships open

Women and People with Disabilities are encouraged to apply. Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements are invited to apply for the learnership Programmes.
The following learnership programmes are on offer:
Licensing Services (Drivers & Motor Vehicle Licence, Renewals and Registrations)
Minimum requirements are Grade 12 or equivalent certificate, a valid South African Driver's License with no criminal record.
Apprenticeship: Electrical
Minimum requirements are Grade 12 or equivalent certificate with electrical heavy current as a main subject, or N2, four subjects with Electrical trade theory (heavy current) and Mathematics as main subject.
National Certificate: Community House Building
Minimum requirements are Grade 10 or equivalent certificate
National Certificate: Construction Road Works
Minimum requirements are Grade 10 or equivalent certificate
National Certificate: Construction Contracting
Minimum requirements are Grade 12 or equivalent certificate with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
FET Certificate: Supervision of Construction Processes
Minimum requirements are Grade 12 or equivalent certificate with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
FET Certificate: Social Auxiliary Work
Minimum requirements are Grade 12 or equivalent certificate
National Certificate: Local Economic Development Coordinator
Minimum requirements are Grade 12 or equivalent certificate
National Diploma: Environmental Education, Training and Development Practice
Minimum requirements are Grade 12 or equivalent certificate
General requirements are for applicants to be South African citizens and reside in Ekurhuleni.
To apply, the following is needed:
- A comprehensive CV
- Recently certified copies of qualifications and Identity Document, and
- Proof of residence (municipal account, official letter bearing their name and address and/or an affidavit)
- Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates only. If no correspondence has been received within six weeks of the closing date, applicants should consider their applications unsuccessful.
