Bedfordview SAPS corporate communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, said the domestic worker was outside at about 1pm when she heard a noise from the kitchen.
“She went to check and was grabbed from behind. She noticed there were two men inside the house. They ordered her to take them to the main bedroom where they used her employer’s ties to tie her hands and feet,” Sgt Nhlabathi said.
The men ransacked the room before the third man came in with the employer. The employer was also tied up and the men took several items and fled in the family's car.
