Pupils keep school premises clean

As part of Mandela Day, a community service project was organised by Grade Eight pupils from St Dunstan's College and a members of the neighbouring community.
Together, the pupils cleaned up the school grounds and the area around it, including the open veld adjacent to the school.
A bakkie full of recyclables was taken to the school's recycling centre and the two skips provided by the metro were filled with waste.
Despite the effort, the clean-up barely scratched the surface and it is hoped that more of a difference can be made with more clean-ups by the school and help from the neighbouring community.
