Metrorail apologises to all its customers and employers for the inconvenience caused by this system failure

METRORAIL is currently experiencing major train delays between Pretoria and Johannesburg due to faulty signals in Kloofsig, Centurion and Irene.

Metrorail has introduced manual authorisations as a contingency measure to ensure that trains run smoothly and safely.

They expect a 60 minutes delay during this morning peak while the technical team is resolving the problem.

Metrorail apologises to all its customers and employers for the inconvenience caused by this system failure.

They appeal to both commuters and their employers to exercise patience while the technical team is working around repairing the faulty signals in order to restore the service back to normal.
