It’s amazing how time flies. Not too long ago Destiny Ministries was just a fledgling church on Starling Street and now ten years later, it is safe to say that the new kid on the black has grown up.

Pastor Shaun Mannie, who hails from Durban, has spent all his life in the church.

He has been in church life for 40 years. Starting out at Faith Centre in Unit 9, Chatsworth, Pastor Mannie later moved to Durban Christian Centre, for 10 years as youth and worship leader.

He relocated to Johannesburg in 1988 where he served under the leadership of the late Pastor Abel Frank at Solid Truth Ministries. At Solid Truth Pastor Shaun led the praise and worship for 11 years and also held a host of portfolios.

He studied through ICI and later graduated after three years full time seminary, with Rhema.

In 2001 by Pastor Shaun and his wife Rani Mannie founded Destiny Ministries after being prepared and fashioned for such a time as this. It was a huge step of faith and now ten years later, Destiny Ministries has emerged as the city church in Lenasia South. It is involved in community projects social responsibility with the local schools and SA Police Department and the Department of Education.

It is with great pleasure pastor Shaun and Rani Mannie together with the Destiny family invites the community of Lenasia South, surrounding areas and beyond to come celebrate this milestone at Destiny Ministries, aptly themed “From Glory to Glory”. This year’s celebrations will truly lift up the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and give Him all the praise and glory for the great things He has done in the lives of all at Destiny. We have truly come a long way as it has only been made possible through Jesus Christ our lord.   As we celebrate ten years, it is quite symbolic as the number ten symbolises of which to be divine order or completeness during a course of time.

As with previous anniversary celebrations we have invited some wonderful men of God to come and share the Word this year.

Old favourite Reverend Elias Ndeda is back once again. Reverend Ndeda is a passionate teacher and carries a strong apostolic anointing upon his life.

Also, another speaker who is no stranger to Destiny Ministries is Bishop Tudor Bismark.  Bishop Bismark resides in Zimbabwe and is the founder of Jabula – New Life Covenant Church in Harare, along with his wife Chichi.

Our final speaker will be Bishop David A Lazarus who is the senior pastor of Siloam Ministries in Gauteng. He is a devout student of the Word of God and is an ardent believer that any dream can be achieved when one’s confidence is place in God.

Special guest artist ,gospel sensation Ke Ke and guitar maestro Gordon Franks will perform live at these meetings.

So please clear your diaries for the weekend of  Friday, April 8 to Sunday, April 10 as Pastor Shaun and Rani Mannie invite you to share in this wonderful celebration at 553 Starling Street, Lenasia South. Celebrations begin on Friday7.30pm, Saturday at 6.30pm and Sunday at 4pm.

All are welcome and entrance is free. For further information contact Destiny Ministries on 011 855 6697
