Golden pens worth R20m stolen
01 February 2013 | David Jenkin
Bramley police appealed for information about 168 artistic pens, not just 17 as reported in other media, taken from a house on 22 January.
Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said the theft was discovered by the owner, and thieves may have gained entry through a sliding door.
They ransacked a music room where household items were thrown all over the floor. Only gold and diamond-studded pens were found to be missing.
John Pearson of John Pearson and Associates LTD is offering a substantial reward through Lloyds Underwriters, for information that would lead to recovery of the pens in good condition.
