His  bail application has been postponed to Tuesday, and Oscar Pistorius will be held at the Brooklyn Police Station according to a tweet by Barry Bateman, Eyewitness News Pretoria correspondent.  Pistorius's legal team has also asked for more time.

Mandy Wiener , also of ‏Eyewitness News, tweeted "#State says will argue premeditated murder."

According to looklocal Centurion, 'The defence has requested that Pistorius be held at the Brooklyn police station cells.
Throughout the proceedings, Pistorius broke down and sobbed uncontrolably.
His father and his brother at times reached out to put their hand on his schoulder in trying to comfort him.
Police were yet to reveal the results of the autopsy of the victim Reeva Steenkamp
Meanwhile Mnet has cancelled their Oscar campaign with Pistorius. Billbords were removed yesterday across the country.
Pistorius also had a sponsorship with Nike. Nike extended their condolences to all families concerned following the tragic incident. "As it is a police matter, Nike will not comment further at this time," they said in a statement.'

Pistorius spent last night in in jail and arrived in court this morning. At 09:00.

Oscar Pistorius, who shot and killed his girlfriend on Thursday in the Silverwoods Contry Estate after thinking she was a intruder, will appear in court later today on a charge of murder, according to looklocal Tzaneens' sister website in Pretoria, looklocal Centurion

According to looklocal Centurion, unconfirmed reports indicate that FHM model Reeva Steenkamp is the woman, who Pistorius allegedly shot 4 times in the head and chest.

The woman’s body was removed by 08:00 this morning, Beeld.com reports.   

Oscar Pistorius allegedly kills his girlfriend: Report

Timeslive(www.timeslive.co.za) reported this morning that Oscar Pistorius had shot and killed his girlfriend.

According to the news website, ‘Paralympian athlete Oscar Pistorius allegedly accidentally shot dead his girlfriend at his house in Pretoria on Thursday morning, according to a report.’   

The site reports that he had mistaken her for a robber, according to Beeld.com

‘Police spokeswoman Captain Sarah Mcira confirmed she was shot in the arm and head. She died on the scene. Pistorius is apparently in police custody,’  the article reads.
